Note, as Yumoto is completing his takedown, Velikov turns and flees-the-mat. The referee on the mat signals 1 pt blue. He also correctly signals a caution---raises his hand w/ red band straight out to his side, asking for a confirmation from either the judge or chairman for a caution against red. The far mat judge confirms (can't see the mat chairman who also confirmed if my memory is correct)---notice the red light on.
Neither the referee nor mat judge, however, ask for a caution when Velikov is awarded his 1 pt, because Yumoto didn't flee, nor did Velikov complete his TD, hence only a push-out pt w/ no caution attached.
The signal on the mat was as clear as a football referee signaling a safety. I was puzzled at the time, how the BUL coaches and Velikov appear to miss the call:?:
